The BFA Computer Art Department is pleased to announce that three films by the class of 2005 alumni are regional finalists for the Student Academy Awards. Only 7 films were selected as finalists in the animation category. Abridged, by Joshua Harvey and Mats Andersson, Eternity, by Travis Griggs and Ylli Orana, and Betty, by Rie Ito, will be a part of the regional finals to be held on Tuesday, April 27th at the Lighthouse Theater in Manhattan. A distinguished panel of judges will choose up to three animated student films to advance to the national finals. Winners of the National Student Academy Awards will be announced on June 11th at the National Academy Theater in Los Angeles.
